Nice! I remember reading this story a long time ago, still creeps me out! I actually have the Scary Stories to Tell in the Dark collection although the artwork always creeped me out more than the stories!

Who ever came up with the idea of licking a strip of glue on an envelope to seal it? And how is it that ANYBODY took that person seriously? In hindsight, it really is an enormously stupid idea. It would be like suggesting the best way to stir paint would be to gurgle it around in your mouth for a few minutes.
